The National airline of Netherlands, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is now offering e-boarding pass to all its passengers. They just have to use their mobile phone to check in as they will receive their boarding pass as an SMS. E-boarding pass means that passengers flying with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines simply have to use their PDA or smartphone to check in. Passengers will receive their boarding pass automatically as an SMS, MMS or e-mail to their mobile phone. Furthermore all the details a passenger need for check in and board are in the message including the barcode KML Royal Dutch Airlines scan at the gate before they board the plane. Passengers flying with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines don’t have to print out their boarding pass any longer with the e-boarding pass but they should have their passport or ID card in with them. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has already tested the e-boarding pass on flights between Amsterdam and Paris.
