On the 8th April 2009, the European Commission issued the tenth edition of the “Black List”. In this new edition of the blacklist, we find that Mango Airlines and Helizona are no longer on the blacklist. There are also new entries on the blacklist of companies in April 2009. The European Commission has added One Two Go Airlines Company, Benin Golf Air and other airlines.

European Commission: Gabon Airlines and Afrijet still on the blacklist

Gabon Airlines and Afrijet are still on the “black list” following the publication of the new edition of the blacklist by the European Commission on 8th April 2009. Gabon Airlines and Afrijet are still being banned from operating within the European Union. However, the company Gabon Airlines is only allowed to use the aircraft, Boeing B767-200 for its current operations within the European community. The European Commission allows only the use of two Falcon 50 and Falcon 900 for activities of Afrijet in the European community as mentioned in the blacklist of companies in April 2009.

The “Black List” has been updated by the European Commission on 8th April 2009. This new updated version of the blacklist of companies in April 2009 highlighted the airlines banned access within the European Union. The European Commission has added new companies to the tenth edition. There is the addition of One Two Go Airlines Company, Benin Golf Air, from the Republic of Benin and many other airlines. Companies Helizona Mango Airlines is no longer included on the blacklist.
The European Commission maintains a ban on all carriers from several countries such as Angola, Indonesia, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and Gabon among others.
