The airline based in Amman, Royal Jordanian will shift the checking in of passengers travelling to the North American destinations and all the operations related to the South Terminal at Queen Alia International Airport instead of the North Terminal (2) as from 15th April 2009. Royal Jordanian shift everything to the South Terminal to smooth the progress of travel procedures, including accepting passengers and their luggage, immigration procedures and boarding passes. Moreover it will make it easier for passengers to reach the gates without having to cross to the other terminal passing through the Duty Free Shop as all the aircrafts flying to the USA and Canada destinations always park on the ramp of the South Terminal.
