The national airline of Portugal based in Lisbon, Tap Portugal, offers five frequencies a week departing from Lisbon to Warsaw. The flight between Lisbon and Warsaw have been active since 09th June 2009. The decision of Tap Portugal to fly between Lisbon and Warsaw proves that even in times of economic slowdown, investment opportunities exist. Tap Portugal flights from Lisbon to Warsaw will be cost-effective to the extent that Lisbon is a market where there is real demand in terms of air links, said the General Director of the League of Polish Airports.
