As from 27th October 2009 the airline based in Montreal Air Canada will be proposing daily non stop flights between its hub located in Montreal and Rome located in Italy. Air Canada non stop flights to Rome departing from Montreal will be operated on Air Canada’s Boeing 767-300ER having a capacity of 211 passengers. The Boeing 767-300ER of Air Canada offers seats in the Economy class and in the Executive First Service with 24 flat bed suites.

Qatar Airways the airline based in Qatar launches a new Boeing B777-200LR to Melbourne which is effective since 17th June 2009. Qatar Airways already has 4,000 frequent fliers in Australia that are part of the loyalty program. The new operation of Qatar Airways will connect travellers from Melbourne, Australia to the United Kingdom and Europe with a one-stop service and a designed one hour connection time in Doha. From Qatar Airways hub in its based area Doha, passengers can also link to numerous destinations across South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. Qatar Airways new Boeing B777-200LR proposes a two-class configuration having a capacity of 259 passengers. Qatar Airways will offer options for a further five Boeing 777 aircraft. Four long range triple sevens will operate the Melbourne and Sydney routes.
