Boeing 737-900ER of Continental Airlines for its 75th anniversary

Based in Texas, Continental Airlines celebrates its 75th anniversary by releasing a brand new Boeing 737-900ER on the 15th June 2009. Continental Airlines has hubs serving New York, Houston, Cleveland and Guam, and together with its regional partners, carries approximately 67 million passengers per year. The new Boeing 737-900ER aircraft of Continental Airlines which is painted in retro livery, was originally used on aircraft beginning in 1947 and is called The Blue Skyway, it was selected by the Continental Airlines employees. Continental Airlines Boeing 737-900ER will make an appearance at Houston Bush Intercontinental on Thursday 25th June 2009 and at New York/Newark Liberty and Cleveland Hopkins on Friday 26th June 2009. Continental Airlines has more than 2,750 daily departures throughout America, Europe and Asia, and is serving 133 domestic and 132 international destinations.

New route from Prague to Venice/Treviso with Wizz Air

The low cost airline, Wizz Air based in Hungary offers new non stop flights from Prague to Venice/Treviso. Considered as the largest low fare airline in Central and Eastern Europe, Wizz Air launches its new route from Prague to Venice/Treviso as from the 20th September 2009. Wizz Air has been continuously adding new routes and increasing frequencies on the existing ones and as it was announced, the airline will base two of its brand new Airbus A320 aircraft in the Czech capital throughout the next two weeks. We aimed at becoming the low cost airline of choice for the Prague by this new route of Wizz Air from Prague to Venice/Treviso right from the start said the Executive Vice President of Wizz Air. Wizz Air fleet is currently consisting of 25 Airbus A320 aircraft operating from 10 bases in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine.

Qatar Airways, the flag carrier airline of Qatar based in Doha promotes new flights to Melbourne as from 6th June 2009. The CEO of Qatar Airways said that the company was waiting for its new aircrafts B777-200LR to start operating the first of two flights to Australia. The Manager of Qatar Airways operations to Melbourne, said that the Australian market has potential international passengers. The public is eager to see a five-star company of the stature of Qatar Airways flight to Melbourne. Until now the customers had to go to Asia to access its services. The B777-200 aircraft operated on the route of Qatar Airways to Melbourne will be configured in two classes with 259 passengers, including 42 passengers in the business class of Qatar Airways where passengers can enjoy maximum comfort and services to fly to Melbourne. Configured 2-2-2 in Business Class, the seats recline with rows spaced approximately 2 meters.
