Traffic down in April 2009 for American Airlines

The figures for the period April 2009 of American Airlines has just been published. American Airlines, a native of the United States decreased by 4.7% to its overall traffic and capacity was about 6.1% compared to April 2008. American Airlines recorded a decrease of 2.1% for its international traffic and a decline in capacity of 2.5% compared to April 2008. As for American Airlines domestic traffic was down 6.1% and its capacity was about 8.2% compared to April 2008. American Airlines is a founding member of the Oneworld alliance. It carried 7.2 million passengers. American Airlines traffic is down in April 2009 compared with April 2008.
