On 22^nd April 2010, Virgin Blue has announced its new service that it will now offer to passengers namely that of mobile check-in. The new service of mobile check-in launched by Virgin Blue will offer passengers the possibility to select their seats and will board the aircraft using a 2D barcode boarding pass. With the new service of mobile check-in introduced by Virgin Blue, passengers will now be able to receive their boarding pass on their mobile phone in 2D. The 2D barcode that passengers will receive on their phones thanks to mobile check-in of Virgin Blue will display details such as flight number, boarding time, seat number and also the landing time. Virgin Blue newly launched service of mobile check-in is available for passengers having a domestic air ticket Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
