Code share between Etihad Airways and Olympic Air

The two carriers, Etihad Airways and Olympic Air based in UAE and Greece respectively have signed a code share agreement. Etihad Airways code share Olympic Air will be operational as from 18^th May 2010. Following the code share, Etihad will place its code EY on flights of Olympic Air between Athens and Rhodes and Thessaloniki and also Bucharest and Sofia. Olympic Air will also place its code OA on flights of Etihad Airways between Athens and Abu Dhabi and to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Sydney and Melbourne if approval is given by the government. This code share with Olympic Air will help to strengthen the customer base of Etihad Airways in Greece. To recall, code share are a way to expand into new markets. Etihad Airways also offers air ticket Larnaca, Manchester, Paris, Dubai, Mumbai and many more destinations in the world.
