The South Korean based airline and member of Skyteam Korean Air has launched the iPhone application on 17^th May 2010. Korean Air iPhone application enables passengers the possibility to know about their flight status and flight schedules, seat availability onboard, air fares and can also check the status of their ‘Skypass’ account. This will however be supplemented in the future by new offering such as buying air tickets through mobile phone. With the new iPhone application, passengers will be able to manage their bookings, reservations and also to find a flight at the last minute and can also get updates about air traffic. This application of iPhone is linked with the accounts of Korean Air on popular social networks like Facebook or Twitter, enabling the public to navigate easily between the websites. In order to use this new service, passengers have to download the application from the iPhone App Store. The iPhone application can be accessed in 4 languages namely Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese. With a total of 128 aircrafts, Korean Air offers air ticket Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong and many more cities across the world.
