The carrier based in Bangkok, Bangkok Airways crashes Samui Airport by colliding with the former control tower on board of its ATR 72-500. The crash ATR 72-500 Bangkok Airways took place on the 4th August 2009. The ATR 72-500 of the Bangkok Airways flight PG 266 was operating the route between Krabi and Samui Airport. Moreover the flight PG 266 of Bangkok Airways was operating with 68 passengers, 2 flight attendants and 2 pilots. Due to the flight PG 266 crash of Bangkok Airways four passengers are badly injured, two passengers are with minor injuries and one pilot lost his life.
