On 30th September 2010, the airline based in UAE Etihad Airways has announced that a code share agreement has been signed with the airline based in Malta, Air Malta. Etihad Airways code share Air Malta came into effect since yesterday 1st October 2010. The code share agreement will enable Etihad Airways to place its code on flights operated by Air Malta between Milan and Malta. The code share agreement signed will also enable Air Malta to place its code on flights operated by Etihad Airways between Milan and Malta. Following the new code share signed between Etihad Airways and Air Malta passengers will benefit from better flights connections.  To recall, Air Valid helps passengers with luggage Etihad Airways thus making passengers know how much weight and bags they are entitled to on different flights and in different cabins.
