The airline based in Singapore and member of Star Alliance, Singapore Airlines has signed a code share agreement with the Spanish airline and also member of Star Alliance, Spanair. Singapore Airlines code share Spanair will take effect as from 17^th May 2010. Following the code share agreement signed between the two carriers, passengers of Singapore Airlines will benefit from Spanair’s routes from Barcelona to Madrid, from Barcelona to Palma Mallorca and from Barcelona to Bilbao. In the same way, Spanair passengers will benefit from the code share agreement on the route to Singapore from Spain via Barcelona. Besides signing a code share with Spanair, Singapore Airlines has various code share agreements with airlines such as Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, US Airways and many more. Even on the flights that will be code shared with Spanair, passengers will be provided a large choice of Singapore Airlines onboard services. One of the routes that will be code shared between Singapore Airlines and Spanair will be Madrid, the Spanish capital which has art galleries, museums that travelers will be able to visit.
