flydubai, the low-cost airline based in Terminal 2 at Dubai International airport has introduced its first Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft. Moreover, for the introduction of the first Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft of flydubai at the inauguration ceremony a lot of industry experts, staff and media were present. Furthemore, flydubai will start flights with its first Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft as from the 1st June 2009. flydubai will serve four destinations at the beginning and will introduce more destinations in its network in the future. flydubai first Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft will serve Beirut, Amman, Damascus and Alexandria.

Ryanair, the low-cost airline based at London-Stansted Airport announced that it has cancelled its flights to and from Paris Beauvais Airport. As a consequence of an important runaway works Ryanair cancel flights to/from Paris Beauvais Airport. Paris Beauvais Airport will be closed as from the 3rd June 2009 until the 10th June 2009. Therefore, passengers travelling with Ryanair, whose flights to and from Paris Beauvais Airport have been cancel wish to rebook their flights with Ryanair on a different date can do so by contacting the airline’s reservation centre. Moreover, Ryanair’s travellers can also ask for a full refund of their air tickets on their unused flights to and from Paris Beauvais Airport.

As from the 24th October 2009, Copa Panama Airlines, the airline based at Tocumen International Airport in Panama will cancel its alliance with the SkyTeam. Although, Copa Panama Airlines quit SkyTeam Alliance, its alliance with Continental Airlines and Aero Republica will remain the same. In addition, Copa Panama Airlines’ travellers who are members of OnePass will still get miles on SkyTeam alliance airlines until Copa Panama Airlines cancel its alliance with SkyTeam on the 24th October 2009. Furthermore, Copa Panama Airlines’ passengers who are members of Presidents Club will still be able to use the SkyTeam airport lounges until the 24th October 2009.
