Turkish Airlines, flag carrier of Turkey has signed a code share agreement with Garuda Indonesia, carrier based in Indonesia. The code share between Turkish Airlines and Garuda Indonesia came into effect on 31st October 2010. Under the agreement signed, Turkish Airlines and Garuda Indonesia will place their codes on the code shared flights between Istanbul and Jakarta and between Jakarta and Istanbul. With the new code share, passengers of both Turkish Airlines and Garuda Indonesia will benefit of better flights connections between Turkey and Indonesia.
