Air New Zealand is making provision for additional flights from Christchurch to Wellington and Auckland following the recent earthquake in New Zealand. As a special request from Civil Defense, Air New Zealand is deploying a wide body Boeing 777-200 to operate Christchurch Wellington additional flights and then another flights departing Christchurch to Auckland. With the earthquake affecting New Zealand Air New Zealand is providing special $50 domestic air ticket Christchurch for travel until midnight on Friday 25th February 2011. Apart from Christchurch additional flights Air New Zealand reminds passengers that International flights has resumed normally in Christchurch Airport. To recall, Air Valid requests passengers to subscribe to flight delay status alert in order to stay tune with up-to-the minute flight alert. The flight delay status alert will keep passengers informed about every single change in their flights schedules.
