easyJet is starting new route to London Southend starting May 2, 2013. The airline is proposing cheap flight London Southend from only £31.49 one way. The flights will be operated six flights a week from Edinburgh to London Southend. The new route will offer more travel experience to the Essex travelers and the south east and also will offer business travelers with great connectivity to Straford and east London. Fare includes taxes and charges. Flights to London Southend depart from Edinburgh Airport.

Alitalia flight AZ16790 crashed

On February 2, 2013, flight AZ1670 operated by Carpatair had met a landing accident after landing out of the runway due to strong wind at Rome Flumicino Airport. The ATR72 aircraft had 50 people onboard including 46 travelers and 4 crews. All the passengers were transported to the hospital for health check. To recall, Air Valid proposes Carpatair crash and incident where passengers can view the list of air crash and air incidents experienced by Carpatair.

Bahrain entered into a codeshare agreement with nasair on Damman routes. This agreement will allow both airlines to operate between Damman and Khartoum and Beirut. Following the codeshare/Sharing code agreement Bahrain and nasair, this will provide Bahrain travelers to connect easily on nasair flight-operated to many destinations across the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent.
