On January 29, 2013, the SCAT Airlines Bombardier CRJ200 crashed near the Almaty Airport. The crash has killed all the 21 people onboard including 16 passengers and 5 crew members. Kingfisher Airlines, the airline based in India will launch flights between Srinagar and Bhubaneswar on 10th January 2011. Kingfisher Airlines flights from Srinagar to Bhubaneswar will be operated daily and will be carried out by an Airbus A319 aircraft. Kingfisher Airlines flights IT 3345 from Srinagar will depart at 14hr50 to land in Bhubaneswar at 19hr40. Kingfisher Airlines return flights IT 3350 from Bhubaneswar will depart at 9hr50 to land in Srinagar at 14hr20. Besides the flights between Srinagar and Bhubaneswar, Kingfisher Airlines also announced that it will launch daily flights between Srinagar and New Delhi using its Airbus A319 aircrafts on which passengers will be provided with Kingfisher Airlines onboard services.
